Budwig Rubber Bumpers and Rubber Feet on Test Equipment

For decades, Abaxis has dedicated its purpose towards advancing medical technology. Their current mission is aimed at assisting physicians and veterinarians with high-quality blood analyzers.  One of their recent products, the VETSCAN Sediment Analyzer, is an easy-to-use urinalysis machine designed to provide high-resolution imaging and impressive accuracy with low-maintenance operation and clean interface.

To keep these units working optimally, Abaxis employs Budwig’s F-070-PP65D-B rubber bumpers. These parts are some of Budwig’s larger pieces, measuring at just over 2.25” in height.  In fact, these bumpers are injection-molded with polypropylene (PP) in a 65 Shore D scale (65D), also making them some of our hardest feet. Their tough composition means that they’re one of the few parts we supply without our steel support bushing. The VETSCAN SA uses four of these F-070s per unit.
